Born to be someone else

I was born to be someone else

I didn’t want to change His desire

But the train of life in the distance brought me

In other places, only with a departure ticket

I can’t turn the hourglass of life back

I keep thinking and then I stop

How to change the habit of straps

And the wheel of life that knows its humility

Stars staring at me from the sky

And at night I wake up without asking

Words lined up on a string

It comes out of my heart and it seems to fly

I don’t have time to ask them if they’re coming

Their string singing is divine

It chains me, breaks me to pieces

Which then stick together in the dance

I feel joy and bitterness alike

And the rudder of my life is drifting

For the Universe has fixed my destiny

What caresses my sigh and wormwood

I’m not sad because I’m learning the chorus

This is the way I got on the train

Which leads to the longing road

And he sings to me in an exuberant chorus.

In vain did we try to resist

This is my purpose from above heaven

Good words to share

With them the wickedness of the world is divided

From the celestial feather to make my shield

And the positive word to sharpen

To write for justice and love

And for the sake of good preaching

From unseen muses whispering to me

Come down in a gentle divine voice

Words placed in divine heel

In celestial writing.

I put them on the sheets, I write them as they come

I’m glad I understand it’s not a torment

I was born to be someone else

And I didn’t want to change His will!
